2024 was another milestone in Impress Décor Brazil history, one that reaffirmed the company’s commitment to innovation. Impress Decor consolidated its leadership in the decorative surfaces market, participating in international events, launching products that highlighted Brazil’s unique, and promoting internal initiatives aimed at fostering well-being and a high level of engagement among employees. 2023 Celebration and Launch of Impress’s “Trajectories” Collection

At the start of the year, Impress Decor Brazil promoted a special celebration of 2023’s results for its employees. The party was marked by the delivery of recognition awards for time spent at the company and the presentation of the Trajectories Collection, which introduced ten new decorative patterns on the market. Inspired by a sense of ‘Brazilianness’ and diversity, the Trajectories collection’s designs explore wood design with nuances ranging from light to sober tones, reflecting a visual and emotional connection to the stories and places that shape our lives.

 

Milan Design Week

In April, the company participated in Milan Design Week and brought its Imagine installation to one of the industry’s most prestigious events. Impress Decor’s presence in Milan reaffirmed its relevance on the global scene while promoting an exclusive narrative curated by Bruno Simões, offering partners and customers a unique experience.

 

ForMóbile 2024

In Brazil, Impress’s participation in ForMóbile in July was one of the highlights of the year. Impress Decor’s booth highlighted the Imagine concept as part of a sustainable project developed by Junta in partnership with Idealize Studio. Built using 100% reusable materials, the space, which presented the latest pattern releases, earned the company the Better Stands seal, uniting both the company’s business activities and commitment to sustainability. The booth was also a key meeting point for networking, allowing Impress to strengthen its relationship with customers and partners.

 

Focus on Mental Health

The Equilibramente program, which was created by Impress Decor BR in 2022, was once again highlighted in 2024 as an essential initiative focusing on employee well-being. This year, the company promoted an initiative aimed at men, addressing often neglected issues, such as mental health and the role men play in society. This initiative is pioneering in the industrial sector and seeks to recognize the importance of including all genders in discussions about health and emotional balance in the workplace. These initiatives reflected company's commitment to creating an inclusive and healthy environment, promoting reflections that positively impact productivity and quality of life among employees.

 

SIPATMA 2024

Impress’s Internal Week for the Prevention of of Workplace and Environmental Accidents (SIPATMA) was one of the most significant moments of the year and focused on the theme of safe traffic. The program included workshops on safety, health and the environment, as well as interactive activities, such as the “Game of Choices”, which emphasized the importance of responsible decisions related to traffic and work at the company’s plant. Impress ended the week off with a cycling tour, bringing employees and their families together in a practical and engaging celebration of safety in day-to-day routines.

 

Continuous Improvement Program (CIP)

Impress BR internal CIP (Continuous Improvement Program) program recognized innovative projects that contributed to continuous improvement of the company's processes. The award highlighted employee creativity and engagement and allows them to demonstrate their ability to transform ideas into practical and positive results.

 

Open Doors for Families

The Open Doors event, held in November, was another remarkable moment at Impress Brazil in 2024. The initiative brought together employees and their families, providing an immersive experience within Impress Decor’s universe. Guided factory tours and institutional presentations allowed family members learn more about the production processes and values that support the company, further strengthening ties with the team.

 

Color of the Year 2025: Nyria

The unveiling of Nyria as the Color of the Year 2025 was one of the key highlights of the second half of the year at Impress. Nyria was introduced at an exclusive event at the Wire Opera in Curitiba and symbolizes the duality and balance that define current trends. With shades that blend terracotta and violet, the color translates the search for solid roots and the fluidity needed to address the transformations associated with modernity. The event featured an enriching workshop led by Ana Kreutzer, an artistic presentation and sensory experiences, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the universe of colors and the connection between design, culture and well-being. More than an aesthetic trend, Nyria is a manifesto of introspection, welcoming and adaptability and can be highlighted as a transformative element in the creation of spaces that promote a sense of serenity and inspiration.

 

Climate Paraná and SESI SDG Seals

Sustainability continued to be one of Impress Decor’s fundamental pillars in 2024, as the company was recognized with Climate Paraná and SESI SDG seals. These awards highlighted the company's dedication to ESG practices, which include reducing its carbon footprint and promoting environmentally responsible solutions. An example of these efforts is the company’s Zero Landfill project, which seeks to eliminate waste sent to landfills, prioritizing alternatives such as composting and co-processing. The Climate Paraná Seal, under category A – the highest level award of its kind offered – reflected an improvement of Impress's sustainable initiatives and a process of evolution from a previous certification. The SESI SDG Seal recognized the Zero Landfill project’s contribution to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially in the areas of responsible consumption, protection of life on land and strengthening of effective institutions. These achievements supported Impress Décor BR’s status as an industry reference in sustainability in the decorative sector, proving that it is possible to align productive efficiency with environmental and social responsibility throughout all stages of the production chain.

 

Inauguration of the Impress Brazil’s Fourth Printing Line

The start of Impress’s fourth printing line at the Araucária factory in Paraná represented a strategic milestone for Impress Decor in 2024. Offer advanced technology and greater energy efficiency, the new line demonstrates efforts made by the company to meet growing demand in the Latin American market, expanding its production capacity in a sustainable manner. The printing line’s inauguration ceremony brought together the employees who actively participated in the project, in a moment of celebration that was symbolic of teamwork. The new line, installed without any impacts on existing production, strengthens Impress Decor's offer of high quality patterns and designs and consolidates the company as a sector leader. This expansion represents a key technological advance, the company's confidence in the market and its long-term vision, promoting its engagement in implementing innovation, safety and excellence in all processes.

 

Sudati Panéis Award

At a dinner offered by Sudati MDF, Impress Brazil was recognized by Sudati Panéis as being the best supplier of decorative papers. This recognition reflects the company’s continuous efforts to deliver high quality products and strengthen strategic partnerships, highlighting Impress Decor's role as a leader in excellence.

 

Funan has earned Furniture Diamond Award 2025

The Funan design received the Furniture Diamond Award 2025 and was recognized for its unconventional design and versatile color palette. Funan distinguishes itself through not only its timeless appeal, but also ample color matching possibilities, meeting the growing demand for natural but distinctive patterns in European designs.

The Furniture Diamond Award, established in 2006, celebrates exceptional achievements in the furniture and interior design industries. Winners are evaluated based on design, technology, innovation and functionality and receive a commemorative statuette created by renowned sculptor Jaroslaw Perszko.

This recognition solidifies Impress Decor's reputation for innovation and its dedication to providing high-quality designs that redefine interior aesthetics. Funan exemplifies the potential of modern decor to transform living spaces and offer a balance between tradition and contemporary style.

 

Great Place to Work: Impress Brazil Named a GPTW for the Fifth Consecutive Year

In 2024, Impress Decor Brazil received Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification for the fifth consecutive year and was once again highlighted as an excellent work environment. The company’s climate survey pointed to significant advances, such as the increase in the favorability index, which exceeded 85% on several fronts, reflecting employees' pride in being part of the company and confidence in leadership. Aspects such as ethics, honesty and accessibility to management were widely recognized, as well as respect for diversity and commitment to safety and well-being at work.

What's next for Impress Brazil

2025 will be a year full of new initiatives and celebrations. Impress Decor will celebrate 25 years of operations in Brazil in 2025. This celebration will be marked by new exciting achievements and initiatives. These efforts will include the expansion of the factory in Araucária with the inauguration of the Design Center, the design for which was delivered in December, during an afternoon event in which employees were able to learn more about the new facilities. This expansion marks a key advance for the company, consolidating its position as a market reference in agility and innovation. According to General Director Marciel Nogaroto, this project was developed with the clear objective of providing even more agility in customer service, reinforcing the company's commitment to excellence and efficiency.

"This environment will drive the development of products and services as well as promote consistent improvement in relationships with partners and customers. Our goal is to continue to impress the market with the wonderful products we create and supply,” Nogaroto concluded. The expansion symbolizes a strategic step in consolidating Impress Decor's global presence, which is focused on bringing the latest innovations to the market.
