Women’s Run 2025 – Together Against Breast Cancer

On Sunday, October 26th, the Women’s Run 2024 took place, organized by the Ełk Amazon Association and the Ełk City Hall.
The event began at the Environmental Education Center and aimed to promote breast cancer prevention as part of the global “Pink October” campaign.

This year’s slogan – “I don’t fool around with cancer! I check my breasts!” – emphasized the importance of regular examinations and early detection of cancer.

The Women’s Run welcomed everyone, regardless of age or gender. Participants covered distances ranging from 1.8 km to 5.4 km at their own pace – running, walking, or simply enjoying the route. The event was accompanied by free health consultations and a meeting with members of the Ełk Amazon Association, who shared their experiences and encouraged participants to take care of their health.

The Women’s Run was part of the European Breast Cancer Awareness Day, observed on October 15th. The entire month of October, known worldwide as “Pink October,” is dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer and promoting regular health check-ups among women.

We are proud that IMPRESS Decor Polska took part in the Women’s Run for the second consecutive year. Our participation reflected our commitment to promoting health, prevention, and solidarity with women. We look forward to continuing this valuable initiative in the years to come.
